Mass. General Laws c.221D § 8

Section 8

Nothing in this chapter shall be interpreted to require any person, including any law enforcement officer, court employee or court officer, to interfere with or assist the actions of a federal official engaged in civil immigration enforcement. Nothing in this chapter shall be interpreted to confer upon any law enforcement officer the authority, obligation or responsibility to enforce, interpret, supervise, assess compliance with or prevent conduct governed by this chapter.
