Overview
This layer contains all locations of Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare providers as listed on their official website's Find VA Locations tool. It includes both VA Hospitals and VA Clinics.
VA Hospitals (often called Medical Centers) and VA Clinics provide primary care and specialty health services, including mental health, nutrition, treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), women’s health, and more. The individual websites for each location should be consulted for the exact services they offer.
This layer is stored in the SDE database as VA_HEALTHCARE_PT.
Production
MassGIS developed this datalayer by geocoding addresses scraped from the VA's Find VA Locations tool and editing locations as needed.
Attributes
The point attribute table contains the following fields:

| MH_PNUM | Mental Health hotline number for the location |
| TELCOMMRLY | Telecommunications relay services number |
