The Board of Registration in Pharmacy oversees the practice and licensure of pharmacists in Massachusetts. The board licenses qualified pharmacy technicians, pharmacy interns, and pharmacists. The board also fosters the provision of quality pharmaceutical care through the regulation of the practice of pharmacy, the operation of pharmacies, and the distribution of prescription drugs in the public interest.
