The Board of Registration of Dietitians and Nutritionists oversees the practice and licensure of these professionals in Massachusetts. Dietitians and nutritionists focus on the relationship between food and human health. Through this practice, their focus on the nutrients in food interacts to balance health, disease, socioeconomic, cultural, and psychological factors. The board grants licenses to qualified individuals and investigates any complaints against the licensees of this board in accordance with state and board rules and regulations.
