Transparent Costs

Budget for IT purchasing is made easier with predictable, flat rates on a per-device, per-month basis.

Take advantage of larger, bulk-discounts that individual customer agencies would not receive on their own.

Device stock is intelligently adjusted based on the number of supported customers, so you are not overcharged for surplus hardware or services that need to be recovered.

Eliminate the need to maintain your own solutions (including physical space) for inventory with centralized hardware and software inventory across the Commonwealth.

Have seasonal workers, or interns? Once they leave, return the device to EOTSS and the subscription pauses.  If they come back, you can resume the subscription and EOTSS will send them a current and fully supported device.

Standardization

Collaborate with colleagues anytime, anywhere using standard collaboration tools and software suites.

Hardware, software and peripheral options are standardized across the enterprise and can be tailored to your needs - no more "one size fits all" approach.

Choose from options already vetted by EOTSS and be confident the tools you work with meet all IT Enterprise Policies, Standards, & Guidelines.

Greater Productivity

Spend less down time troubleshooting issues or waiting for your device or software to arrive with streamlined hardware and software delivery.

EOTSS can quickly replace your broken device with an already in stock compatible device, and refresh your existing device with a new device every 4 years, so you always have a current, working device that meets your business needs.

Walk through the self-service setup of a new or replacement device from your dedicated work location, or from a remote location that has an internet connection available.

Less Waste

A year before EOTSS was elevated to the Executive Branch, an Executive Order was issued aimed at combating climate change.

Together, we can help reduce the Commonwealth's impact on the environment by reassigning devices that are still within their refresh cycle, and returning broken and out of cycle devices to the vendor to reuse or recycle appropriately.

Increased Security

Planning to refresh the devices every four (4) years ensures that all end user PCs can be patched and updated with critical updates before the end of their lifecycle.  Hardware vendors typically have a five (5) -year lifecycle for hardware models, after which they stop providing firmware and hardware driver updates.

Standardization on hardware and software platforms makes it easier to patch and keep the Commonwealth's operating systems and software up-to-date so they do not deprecate and become vulnerable over time.
