Public Health Summer Institute Pre-College Program

The Boston Congress of Public Health hosts the Public Health Summer Institute Pre-College Program, exclusively for for high school students! This program consists of five sessions of intensive four-day summer programing. The four-day institutes will take place July-August 2023. Students will dramatically enhance their knowledge of the intersecting fields of public health, health equity, and social justice near the campuses of Harvard University, Yale University, Claremont Colleges, or Gallaudet University! 

What’s the Cost?

Application Fees:

  • Early application (non-refundable $25) and priority deadline: April 15, 2023
  • Regular application (non-refundable $50) deadline: May 15, 2023
  • Late application (non-refundable $75) deadline: June 31, 2023

Institute Fees:

  • Public Health Summer Session – In-person: $2500
  • Public Health Summer Session – Asynchronous: $550

Aid: No scholarships or fee waivers will be available for the sessions offered in summer 2023.

Discounts: High Schools that intend to send 5 or more students to the Summer Institute should inquire about discounts at communications@bcph.org. The program fee includes tuition and activity costs for the institute. The fees do not change based on location.
