In support of aggressive clean energy and greenhouse gas emission reduction targets set by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Leading by Example Program (LBE) provides grant funding to state entities through various grant programs targeting a host of clean energy technologies. Funding for these programs is from the Alternative Compliance Payments from the state’s Renewable and Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard programs administered by DOER.
