General Resources for Trauma-Informed and Responsive (TIR) Organizations

This guide is foundational for any professional working in a child-serving organization or agency. SAMHSA’s concept paper lays out: the three “E’s” of trauma (Event, Experience of Event, and Effect); 6 key principles of a trauma-informed approach; guidance to implement a TIR approach in 10 different domains.
