Camping at Boston Harbor Islands

The Boston Harbor Islands offer campsites with a view of the Boston skyline. Reserve your site today for an island adventure close to home.

Overview

Camping at Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park is currently suspended due to insufficient restroom facilities.

DCR is working to upgrade these facilities, but until that time, camping will remain suspended for the remainder of the season for the safety of visitors and protection of island resources. Updates will be added to our website (www.bostonharborislands.org) as they become available. Questions can be emailed to dcr.campinginfo@mass.gov

Camping is limited to 4 islands.

  • Peddocks
  • Lovells
  • Grape
  • Bumpkin

The camping season typically runs from the end of June to Labor Day weekend. You must make reservations for your campsite. While planning your trip, make sure to also buy your ferry tickets.
