The Boston Center for Independent Living is in Downtown Crossing and is located at the corner of Temple Place and Washington Street across from Macy’s at 60 Temple Place and is easily accessible by all MBTA train line. Note:The Orange Line has an exit on Temple Street but it is not monitored nor wheelchair accessible.

There is very little street parking in the area.

Parking is available at the Ritz Carlton Hotel parking garage (10 Avery Street, Boston) or at the Hyatt Regency parking garage (One Avenue de Lafayette, Boston).

There are also a couple of Handicap Parking spots on the corner of Temple and Tremont.

Services   at Boston Center for Independent Living

The Boston Center for Independent Living is a frontline civil rights organization led by people with disabilities that advocates to eliminate discrimination, isolation and segregation by providing advocacy, information and referral, peer support, skills training, PCA services, and transitional services in order to enhance the independence of people with disabilities.

Additionally, the Boston Center for Independent Living hosts housing workshops on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month and also monthly hosts a MassHealth representative who is available to meet with consumers.
