Overview

The Lynnfield Police Academy is a full-service training facility offering Basic Recruit, Veteran Officer In-Service, and Specialized training programs. Dedicated to advancing excellence and professionalism in law enforcement, the academy supports police departments across the Commonwealth through high-quality, standardized training and education.

Facilities

The Lynnfield Police Academy opened its doors in the summer of 2022. This training facility offers over 55,000 sq. ft. of dedicated space to accommodate a full-time academy, consisting of Basic Recruit training and weekly in-service classes running from September through June each year for veteran police officers. This academy also hosts specialized courses and Highway Safety programs.
