Station B-2, SP Shelburne Falls, positioned along Route 2 within Shelburne Falls, oversees an area encompassing 17 towns that together stretch nearly 461 square miles. Among these towns, only three possess full-time police departments, six operate with part-time departments, and in the remaining eight, the State Police provide the primary law enforcement services. This station is tasked with patrolling the Mohawk Trail State Forest in Charlemont and the Kenneth Dubuque State Forest in Hawley. Its jurisdiction includes eight state highways and Interstate 91. Additionally, Station B-2 is home to the E911 center, offering emergency services to the majority of Franklin County.
