Station B-2, SP Shelburne Falls, is located on Route 2 in the Town of Shelburne Falls. There are 17 towns in the station area which comprise nearly 461 square miles. Only three of these towns have full time police departments, six have part-time departments and in eight of these towns, the State Police act as the primary police department. The station is also responsible for patrol of the Mohawk Trail State Forest in Charlemont and the Kenneth Dubuque State Forest in Hawley. There are 8 state highways and Interstate 91 that pass through the station area. The station also houses the E911 center which services most of Franklin County.
