MassHealth LTSS Assessment Pathway

Find information, tools, and resources around the LTSS assessment process for Adult Day Health, Adult Foster Care, Group Adult Foster Care, and Personal Care Attendant program; and how we are collaborating with providers, MassHealth members and advocates.

  • EOHHS Comprehensive Assessment System (e-CAS) is the platform where multiple assessment tools will be implemented by EOHHS, including the Uniform Core Assessment (UCA), the Time for Task Tool (TTT)  and Prior Authorization forms.   
  • Uniform Core Assessment (UCA) is the assessment tool providers and plans complete to assess for eligibility and level of care for LTSS programs and services.  
  • The LTSS Implementation Advisory Council (IAC) is the group of MassHealth Members, providers, plans, and advocates who were selected to help EOHHS implement the LTSS Assessment Improvement Initiative
