MAVRIC for Death Registration

MAVRIC (Massachusetts Vital Records Information Collaborative) is the new electronic death registration for all data partners.

MAVRIC is the state’s new, modernized system for processing vital events. For our authorized registration and data partners, ​MAVRIC offers more streamlined processes, enhanced functionality, and reduced paper-workflows. As of June 2, 2025, MAVRIC replaced the Vitals Information Partnership (VIP) system for death registrations.
