News  DTA's New Bedford Office is Moving to a Temporary Location

NEW BEDFORD — The Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA)’s New Bedford office is moving to a temporary location. 
 
The last day at the office’s current location on West Rodney French Boulevard will be Thursday, March 27. The office will close at noon on this day.

DTA’s New Bedford office will have no in-person availability after 12 p.m. on March 27 and all day on Friday, March 28. 

Starting on Monday, March 31, DTA’s New Bedford office will be located at a temporary office at 651 Orchard St, New Bedford, MA 02744. DTA will temporarily be in suite 307 at this building.

DTA will be moving to a new, permanent location in the coming weeks. That location is still under construction. DTA will let clients know when the new office is open.
 
Clients are encouraged to use DTA Connect or the self-service options on the DTA Assistance Line at 877-382-2363 to manage their case or get information during this time. 
 
Clients can also get assistance through one of our SNAP Outreach Partner locations
