Boston — The MassDOT Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) has announced that on Monday, September 24, 2018, the RMV Service Center in Haverhill will open a new, larger office space located at 229c Lincoln Avenue in Haverhill. The new location is fully accessible and features a customer-friendly design, additional workstations, a larger customer seating area, and ample free parking.
In addition, driver’s license permit tests will be offered at this new site that includes a dedicated testing room and six testing machines.
The Haverhill Service Center’s hours will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m., to 5:00 p.m.
The new office space has a total of 5,822 square feet, and includes the following:
- 400 free parking spaces available;
- Six upgraded workstations for customer transactions and services;
- Two “Business to Business” counters to assist the insurance industry and automobile dealerships; and
- New HVAC system and other aesthetic enhancements.
The Registry will close the current Haverhill Service Center location at 5:00 p.m., today, Friday, September 21.
The RMV is transforming its business processes and replacing its technology to deliver exceptional customer service for residents and businesses across the Commonwealth. Customers are encouraged to “Save Time and Get Ready” online at mass.gov/rmv to complete their some transactions, including renewing a driver’s license or registration, change an address, schedule a road test and more.
