News  Malden District Court to Temporarily Relocate to Cambridge District Court Starting October 28, 2019

Trial Court Chief Justice Paula M. Carey, Court Administrator Jonathan S. Williams, and District Court Chief Justice Paul C. Dawley today announced that the Malden District Court will temporarily relocate its sittings and other court operations to the Medford location of the Cambridge District Court effective Monday, October 28, 2019.  Ongoing repairs to the Malden District Courthouse necessitated the temporary move of all court business to the Cambridge District Court, located at 4040 Mystic Valley Parkway, Medford, Massachusetts, 02155. Repairs are scheduled to be completed in the Spring of 2020.

The Malden District Court, its Clerk-Magistrate’s Office and the Probation Department will operate independently in the courthouse they will be sharing with the employees of the Cambridge District Court. The Malden District Court will continue under the same leadership during its temporary location at the Cambridge District Court. 

During the relocation, the telephone number and hours for the Malden District Court will not change. The main telephone for the Malden District Court is (781) 322-7500 and the hours of operation will remain 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
