Danvers — The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) is announcing that it will hold a ribbon cutting event on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., to celebrate the official opening of the new customer service center location on the North Shore in Danvers. This new service center replaces the former site that was previously located at Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers.
The new RMV Service Center is a larger facility with 6,983 square feet, compared to the former site which had 3,135 square feet. This location is fully accessible, and features over 850 parking spaces, 10 dual counter workstations and two registration-only counters.
The new center also includes the following amenities:
- Six upgraded workstations for customer transactions and services;
- A dedicated testing room and six testing machines for driver’s license permit tests; and
- New HVAC system and other aesthetic enhancements.
