The Division of Ecological Restoration (DER) has released a Request for Responses (RFR) for designated Culvert Replacement Training Sites to continue culvert replacement work in Fiscal Year 2025. Only existing designated Culvert Replacement Training Site projects that have not finished construction are anticipated to be eligible for funding and only projects that intend to meet the goals of the Massachusetts Stream Crossing Standards will be considered for funding.

DER’s Culvert Replacement Training Site Initiative is a network of culvert replacement sites across the state that serve as case studies and provide training opportunities for local road managers. This initiative aims to create a network of road managers with advanced experience implementing culvert replacements that meet the Massachusetts Stream Crossing Standards.

Please visit COMMBUYS for more information and to apply. Information can also be found on DER's website.

Applications are due October 30, 2024 by 4pm.
