News  The DOL is Moving the Next Group of Boards to the New eLIPSE Portal on May 18, 2026 at 8am.

The Division of Occupational Licensure is moving another group of licensing boards to its new online system, eLIPSE, on May 18, 2026 at 8:00am. This update is part of the Commonwealth’s ongoing work to make licensing services simpler, faster, and easier to use online.

The boards transitioning to eLIPSE are Operators of Drinking Water Supply, Massage Therapy, and Sheet Metal. To get ready for the switch, ePLACE access for these boards will end on May 13 at 5:00pm. To avoid delays, we encourage you to finish any applications, renewals, or updates in ePLACE by 4:00 p.m. that day.

The licensing functions for the boards already using eLIPSE will also be unavailable from 5p.m. on Thursday May 13 through 8a.m, on Monday May 18th. These boards include: 

All other boards will continue using ePLACE until they are scheduled to move to eLIPSE in the future.
