News  The DOL is Moving the Next Group of Boards to the New eLIPSE Portal on September 28, 2026 at 8am.

The Division of Occupational Licensure is moving another group of licensing boards to its new online system, eLIPSE, on September 28, 2026, at 8:00am. This update is part of the Commonwealth’s ongoing work to make licensing services simpler, faster, and easier to use online.

The boards transitioning to eLIPSE are Electricians, Engineers and Land Surveyors, Veterinarians and Private Occupational School Education. To get ready for the switch, ePlace access for these boards will end on September 23rd at 5:00pm. To avoid delays, we encourage you to finish any applications, renewals, or updates in ePlace by 4:00pm on that day.

The licensing functions for the boards already using eLIPSE will also be unavailable from 5pm on Wednesday September 23rd through 8am, on Monday September 28th. These boards include: 

All other boards will continue using ePlace until they are scheduled to move to eLIPSE in the future.
