The Office of Race, Equity and Inclusion (OREI) leads DMH in its work to become an agency where all people are welcomed and valued through the advancement of Race Equity and Social Justice.
OREI combines two previously separate offices – the office of the Diversity Officer and the Office of Multicultural Affairs. Thus, OREI serves as the Civil Rights arm of the agency and works to ensure access and equity for all persons, including those who are in a Protected Class.
This page of the DMH website includes resources related to Race, Equity and Inclusion as they apply to individuals in Protected Classes. We are continuing to revise this page, so please check back for updates. For questions and/or comments, please contact us at: OREILetterbox@mass.gov
