The Massachusetts Department of Public Health Sexual and Reproductive Health Program (SRHP) aims to reduce unintended pregnancy, sexually transmitted infection (STI) rates and decrease health inequities by improving access to high-quality education, outreach, and clinical services through a statewide provider network and related special projects.

ACCESS Law + ACCESS, a Massachusetts law, means eligible people can get a year’s supply of no-cost birth control with just one trip to the pharmacy and emergency contraception at no cost.

Emergency contraception statewide standing order + As of August 4, 2022, pharmacists can dispense emergency contraception pills through the statewide standing order, pursuant to chapter 127 of the acts of 2022, An Act Expanding Protections for Reproductive and Gender-Affirming Care.
