Rule IV
Every petitioner for admission as an attorney under Rule 3:01, § 6 of the Rules (Attorneys) of the Supreme Judicial Court shall obtain at his/her own expense and furnish to the Board of Bar Examiners a report by the National Conference of Bar Examiners of an investigation made by it of the moral character and professional experience and standing of such petitioner. The Board of Bar Examiners may waive this requirement in any case in which it deems such a report to be unnecessary.
