The Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) is proposing to amend its regulations on background record checks (606 CMR 14.00) and is seeking public comment on the draft changes.
You may view the proposed amendments to the regulations on background record checks, in the files below under "Downloads." You may also request a hard copy of the proposed amendments to the regulations by emailing Jenna Buonopane at Jenna.Buonopane3@massmail.state.ma.us.
Please note that the current version of the regulations at 606 CMR 14.00 are still in effect. The proposed amendments to EEC's regulations on background record checks will not become effective until adopted by the Board of Early Education and Care and officially published in the Massachusetts Register for final promulgation.
