The Boiler & Pressure Vessel Exam Appeals Board is convened when an applicant or holder of a fireman or engineer license or oil burner technician certificate requests an appeal hearing. The statutory authority is M.G.L. Chapter 146, §66 or M.G.L. Chapter 148, §10G. The Board consists of three district inspectors designated by the chief of inspections.
