Project Updates
April 2022: Spring Update
DCR and our Contractors are getting ready to resume activities for this spring on the CCRT extension to the Wellfleet Hollow Campground.
Remaining activities include:
• Final paving of the Rail Trail top course
• Installation of safety fencing at Lecount Hollow parking lot
• Additional planting and invasive species control
• Installation of benches and bike racks
We expect the Lecount Hollow Parking area and the rail trail to be substantively open in late spring, and are looking to schedule a formal opening event in June.
