Monthly Population Report - Committed Caseload

October 1, 2010

  • On January 1, 2011, the committed caseload was 1,288: 1,098 males (85.2%) and 190 females (14.8%).
  • From January 1, 2010 to January 1, 2011 the committed caseload decreased by 148 juveniles (10.3%). The number of committed males has decreased by 112 (9.3%) during the past year, while the number of females has decreased by 36 (15.9%).
  • The committed caseload has decreased by 1,973 (60.5%), since January, 2001. During the past decade, the male committed population has decreased from 2822 to 1098 (61.1%), while the female population has decreased from 439 to 190 (56.7%).
  • The committed caseloads by Region and gender for January 1, 2010 and January 1, 2011 are compared below.
