Eligibility Requirements and Payment Amounts

Veterans that lived in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts before entering the military may be eligible to receive a bonus for their service in the Vietnam Conflict, Korean War, and World War II.

Six continuous months active service other than service in Vietnam	$200
If died while on active service	$300

 

Korean War Bonus Payment Amount (only eligible for one bonus)
Overseas service	$300
Six months or more active service stateside	$200
One day to six months active service stateside	$100
If died while on active service	$300

 

 

World War II Bonus Payment Amount (only eligible for one bonus)
Overseas active service	$300
Six months or more active service stateside	$200
