Disciplinary Action Taken by DPL

Pursuant to G.L. c. 112, § 263, the Division of Professional Licensure (DPL) is authorized to take disciplinary action against occupational schools and sales representatives who are found to have violated applicable statutes or regulations governing their operation and conduct. Disciplinary Action Taken by DESE

Prior to August 1, 2012, oversight of occupational schools resided with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). Under M.G.L. Chapter 30A and 603 CMR 3.17, DESE had the authority to suspend or revoke the license of registration of an occupational school for cause.
