Motion Picture Operator Licensing

The Office of Public Safety and Inspection (OPSI) regulates the operation of motion picture projectors and licensed operators of such apparatuses.

It is unlawful to use a projector in a public building that uses a film more than 10 inches in length, except in accordance with OPSI regulations. All premises in which such projectors are used must be inspected by OPSI. No person shall operate such apparatus in any public building until they have received a license to do so from OPSI.
