Monthly pension payments are direct deposited on the final business day of each month. If you receive a paper check, it will be mailed two business days prior to the direct deposit date. The 2020 Form-1099-R's will be mailed by January 31, 2021.

Note: Regular paper statements for members receiving direct deposit were discontinued as of August 2010. Instead, 1099-R paper statements will be mailed once a year, usually in early January. Additionally, if there is any change in the amount of your monthly benefit payment you will receive a paper statement in the mail.

Members who retired prior to January 2010 and are still receiving paper checks in the mail may continue to do so, however we strongly recommend that you sign up for direct deposit. Download the MSRB Direct Deposit Form below to sign up for Direct Deposit OR to change your existing Direct Deposit information such as a new bank, routing number, address etc.


1099-R information will be viewable on PayInfo once the data is available, however these digital forms will not be considered official by the IRS for purposes of filing your taxes.
