Refugee Health Promotion Program (RHPP)

Good health is an important step towards successful resettlement. RHPP can help you obtain affordable health care – including health insurance – and provide you with information and referral to health services.

Services Include:

  • Healthcare education addressing
    • the Massachusetts medical system
    • immunizations
    • selecting a primary care physician
    • current public health concerns
    • mental health
    • home care and safety
  • Case management services for physical and mental health
    • translation and interpretation services
    • follow-up on conditions identified in the Refugee Health Assessment
    • referral to mainstream health care services
    • on-going support through home visits and phone calls
    • access to health insurance plans and translations
