  • Massachusetts Health Promotion Clearinghouse
    View our online catalog of free materials including information about healthy relationships, birth control (including emergency contraception), and an overview of how to get health insurance for family planning services in many languages.
  • Bedsider
    Bedsider is a free online birth control support network for young women ages 18-29. Operated by the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy, you can use Bedsider to explore and compare the birth control options that may work best for you. Bedsider not only contains information on where to find a doctor, health center, over the counter prescription, or emergency contraception, it can also be used to send birth control and appointment reminders.
  • Stay Teen
    Stay Teen is a website operated by the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy that provides evidence-based information and resources. Stay Teen encourages youth to enjoy their teen years and become prepared to make informed relationship decisions in the future. Many of the games, polls, blogs, and videos are created by youth themselves.
  • Title X Federal Family Planning National Training Centers
    A central online location to help reproductive healthcare providers and organizations quickly and easily find resources to help them continuously improve their client services. Resources include archived webinars, training guides and health education materials in English and other languages.
  • The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Publications
    The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is an online source for credible health information. You can use this link to access featured journals, publications by topic, and the MMWR (Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report).
  • Futures Without Violence
    Futures Without Violence provides low and no cost culturally competent evidence-based resources promoting the safety and wellbeing of all through diverse education, advocacy, and leadership campaigns.
  • Hesperian Publications and Bookstore
    Simply written and heavily illustrated, Hesperian books are designed in close collaboration with health workers, grassroots groups, and community organizations around the world, so that people with little formal education can understand, apply and share health information that is appropriate across different conditions and cultures. See especially A Health Handbook for Women with Disabilities and Where Women Have No Doctor for culturally-competent, low-literacy family planning information.
  • Healthy Relationships, Sexuality and Disability Resource Guide PDF (DOC)
    Learning how to access medically accurate, developmentally appropriate health information and resources about sexual health, development and safety is an important developmental task for all youth, and a skill that is needed throughout adulthood. This preventative resource guide was created to share a variety of resources to assist people living with disabilities and those who care about them in accessing the information and guidance they may need to support a broad spectrum of developmentally appropriate tasks related to the reduction of health risks and promotion of healthy relationships and sexuality. Topics from puberty and sexual identity to pregnancy and disease prevention and sexual assault are covered, in resources that include books, curricula, videos, guides and decision-making aids, such “Deciding on Birth Control: A Guide for Women with Epilepsy.”
  • Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health Resources
    Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health (PRCH)'s resources provide physicians and other healthcare providers with the tools they need to promote comprehensive reproductive healthcare. PRCH printed resources and CD-ROMs are free and include many useful tools for providers.
  • PATH Publications
    PATH is an international nonprofit organization that provides low-literacy culturally competent reproductive health information on topics such as: adolescent health, breast cancer, cervical cancer prevention, HPV vaccination, family planning, emergency contraception, HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections. PATH is also a great resource for information about emergency contraception (EC) in over 14 languages (see Emergency Contraception: It's Not Too Late to Prevent Pregnancy').
