The Attorney General’s Community Engagement Division (CED) helps fulfill the
office’s mission to serve all people in Massachusetts across its diverse
communities. CED works to establish a bridge between community members and
the Attorney General’s Office so that residents can access resources, services, and
educational materials for themselves and their communities. CED promotes
awareness of the AGO’s work through know-your-rights trainings, webinars,
tabling, and speaking programs that help the public understand their rights in
Massachusetts.
To ensure the AGO maintains a statewide presence, CED includes regional
coordinators supporting each AGO regional office, including Springfield, New
Bedford, Worcester, and Lowell. CED works closely with bureaus and teams across
the AGO to ensure information shared with the public is accurate, up to date, and
developed with input from subject matter experts.
