Rule 1A
These rules shall govern appeal to the Appellate Division in all civil actions commenced on or after July 1, 1994, and in civil actions pending on that date regarding any ruling, order, decision, judgment or other court action occurring on or after July 1, 1994 by which the appellant claims to be aggrieved. Appeals to the Appellate Division involving a ruling, order, decision, judgment or other court action occurring before July 1, 1994 shall be governed to conclusion by the rules governing such appeal in effect at the time of such ruling, order, decision, judgment or other court action.
