Overview of Appliance Efficiency Standards Informational Webinar - March 6 2023
On January 1, 2023, Massachusetts' appliance energy and water efficiency standards went into effect, barring the sale and installation of certain models of the following product types:
-
commercial cooking equipment (hot-food holding cabinets, ovens, dishwashers, fryers, steam cookers)
-
computers and computer monitors
-
high CRI (color rendering index) fluorescent lamps
-
plumbing fittings and fixtures (faucets, aerators, shower heads, urinals, toilets)
-
portable electric spas
-
water coolers
-
residential ventilating fans
-
spray irrigation sprinkler bodies
-
electric vehicle supply equipment
This webinar will provide information on how manufacturers, sellers, and installers of this equipment can comply with the law and avoid penalties.
