Public Meeting Notice  DCR Playground Designs: Castle Island (South Boston) Public Information Meeting 12/19/2023

In this virtual public information meeting, the project team will share the renovation design for the existing Castle Island Playground.  The current playground is deck structures and swings in EWF (engineered wood fiber) with PIP Rubber pathways to the equipment.  The new playground is ground level based and has all PIP Rubber surfacing.  Special thought has been put in to providing all different types of play linked together in an ocean sea life theme.   This wide range of fun activities is designed in the hopes that all visitors to the park will find types of play they can enjoy. 

The public will be invited to ask questions and provide feedback on the presentation, using the Q&A functionality that will be available through the virtual participation platform. After the meeting, the presentation will be available for viewing at https://www.mass.gov/dcr/past-public-meetings.
