Evidentiary Hearing for National Grid Base Distribution Rate Case (DPU 26-50)
Overview
The Department will be conducting evidentiary hearings on National Grid’s petition for an increase in base distribution rates for gas service. While the Department will not be taking public comments at the hearings, the public is still welcome to observe the proceedings.
The evidentiary hearings will be held over 19 days, beginning on June 29, 2026. Each hearing will begin at 10:00 a.m. The hearings on June 29, July 6, and July 13, will be held in-person only at the Department’s offices, One South Station, 3rd floor. The remaining hearings will be held over Zoom. The full calendar of hearings is below.

Additional information regarding National Grid’s proposal and bill impacts for different service areas may be found on the proceeding webpage. The proposed rates are suspended while the Department conducts its review of National Grid’s petition.
