Firm Transportation Agreement Public Hearing (DPU 25-133 and 25-134)
Overview
The Department is conducting a virtual public hearing to receive comments on Eversource’s petition for a ten-year firm transportation agreement with Algonquin Gas Transmission. The agreement will provide increased natural gas supplies to customers in New Bedford, South Attleboro, and/or Taunton. For more information, please see the Notice below.
The public hearing will take place on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. If necessary, the public hearing will be immediately followed by a procedural conference. For audio-only access to the hearings, attendees can dial-in at 646-558-8656 (not toll free) and then enter Meeting ID# 837 8208 5246. If you anticipate providing comments over Zoom, please send an email by Friday, October 3, 2025, to laurie.e.weisman@mass.gov with your name, email, and mailing address. This hearing will be conducted in English. To request interpretation and/or translation in a language other than English, please send an email to dpu.ej@mass.gov by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2025.
