Public Hearing Notice Gas Supply Agreement Public Hearing (DPU 25-27)
Overview
The Department is conducting a virtual public hearing on the proposed gas supply agreement between Eversource and NRG Business Marketing. Eversource states that the agreement is necessary to ensure reliability of service to customers and represents the most viable, cost-effective alternative available to meet the company’s operational needs.
The public hearing will take place on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. If necessary, the public hearing will be immediately followed by a procedural conference. For audio -only access to the hearings, attendees can dial-in at 301-715-8592 (not toll free) and then enter the Meeting ID# 814 0561 2474.
Any person interested in commenting on this matter may submit written comments no later than the close of business (5:00 p.m.) on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. Written comments from the public may be sent by email to dpu.efiling@mass.gov, julianne.desmet@mass.gov, and the Company’s attorney, Steven Frias, at sfrias@keeganwerlin.com.
