Public Meeting Notice  Head of the Charles Regatta Strategic Plan Public Meeting 5/22/2024

We invite you to participate in our first public meeting to help us reflect on and plan for ways to improve the experience of the Head of the Charles Regatta (HOCR or Regatta).

Your input will help the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) in advancing its goals to protect, promote, and enhance the natural, cultural, and recreational resources along Charles River, as well as enhance the quality of the experience of the Regatta.  We will have a short presentation followed by a series of targeted conversations to understand issues and opportunities that can benefit the Regatta and Charles River Reservation.

The public will be invited to ask questions and provide feedback on the presentation, using the Q&A functionality that will be available through the virtual participation platform. After the meeting, the presentation will be available for viewing at DCR past public meetings. DCR encourages the public to share additional feedback, with a deadline for receipt of comments by DCR of June 5^th, 2024 (deadline extended 6/12/2023). Comments may be submitted online at DCR public comments. Please note that the content of comments you submit to DCR, along with your name, town, and zip code, will be posted on DCR's website. Additional contact information required when commenting, notably email address, will only be used for outreach on future updates on the subject project or property.
