Overview   of Resource Management Plans for DCR South Coast Properties Public Meeting 8/2/2023

Draft Resource Management Plans have been prepared for the following DCR properties: Acushnet Cedar Swamp State Reservation, Berkley State Forest, Dighton Rock State Park, Fall River Heritage State Park, Freetown-Fall River State Forest, Massasoit State Park, Raynham State Forest, Sweets Knoll State Park, and Watson Pond State Park. Copies of these plans will be available online at https://www.mass.gov/info-details/south-coast-district-rmps prior to the meeting.

The public is invited to submit comments on these plans both during and after the meeting, with a deadline for receipt by DCR of September 8th, 2023. During the meeting, the public may make comments via the chat functionality available through the public participation platform or via spoken word during the public comment portion of the meeting. Additional comments may be made online at https://www.mass.gov/forms/dcr-public-comments. Please note that the contents of the comments you submit to DCR, along with your name, town, and ZIP Code will be posted on DCR’s website. Additional contact information required when commenting, notably email addresses, will only be used for outreach on future updates of the subject or property. Following the meeting, the presentation will be available for viewing at https://www.mass.gov/dcr/past-public-meetings.
