Route 3A/Hancock Street Study Public Information Meeting #2

Overview

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing the second Public Information Meeting for the Quincy 3A/Hancock Street Transportation Improvement Study. The meeting will be held virtually on March 4, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.

The purpose of the Study is to review existing transportation conditions and evaluate congestion at the north end of Route 3A in Quincy at the Neponset River Bridge. The Study will evaluate safety, gaps in the multimodal transportation network, and develop recommendations for future multimodal improvements in the corridor.

At this virtual meeting the study team will provide an overview of the data collected, proposed alternatives, and intersection treatments. There will also be time for public comment following the presentation. These meetings are accessible to people with disabilities and those with limited English proficiency. Accessibility accommodations and language services will be provided free of charge, upon request, as available. Such services include documents in alternate formats, translated materials, assistive listening devices, and interpreters (including American Sign Language).
