Siting and Permitting 101: Large Clean Energy Infrastructure Projects

The Department’s Public Participation and Siting Divisions will present an overview of the Energy Facilities Siting Board’s (EFSB) new siting and permitting process. The webinar will cover each phase of the process, from pre-filing consultation and engagement to the conclusion of the adjudicatory proceeding. The webinar will highlight opportunities for public participation and intervening in a proceeding, review key changes under the new regulations, and offer a look into how the EFSB evaluates projects and reaches its decisions.  

This session is for those interested in learning more about the new EFSB consolidate permit process for large clean energy infrastructure facilities, especially municipal officials, regional planning agencies, and community-based organizations.
