Technical Conference on Expansion of Net Crediting (DPU 25-117)

The Department is conducting a hybrid technical conference to discuss matters related to expanding access to net crediting solutions for net metering facilities and solar facilities. The Department plans to discuss: 

• Costs and timeframe associated with implementing the Section 106 and Section 107 approaches; 
• The customer transparency that would be provided through the two approaches; 
• The allocation of the administrative cost savings that should result from the implementation of a net crediting/consolidation billing approach; 
• The ratepayer impacts that would result from shifting the risk of non-payment to ratepayers.

The public is welcome to observe the proceedings through a virtual livestream and interested stakeholders are welcome to participate in discussions.
