Technical conference on net crediting (D.P.U. 25-117)

In initial and reply comments, several stakeholders requested that the Department of Public Utilities (DPU) convene a technical session to discuss, among other matters: (1) the specifics of the net crediting models proposed by the DPU (i.e., Net Crediting 1 and Net Crediting) and the alternative net crediting structure proposed by NSTAR Electric Company d/b/a Eversource Energy (i.e., the Eversource Community Solar Access Program), as well as (2) the transfer of accrued net metering credit balances.

Accordingly, the DPU will hold a hybrid technical conference on Friday, February 6, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m. The in-person session will be at the DPU’s office, One South Station, Boston, Massachusetts.

The Department will distribute an agenda for the technical session at a later date.
