Technical Session for SMART tariff (DPU 25-175)

Thursday, February 12, 2026
10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Overview

The Department is conducting a virtual technical session to discuss matters related to a joint petition by Unitil, National Grid, and Eversource for revisions to the current Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target (SMART) tariff and approval of a proposed SMART 3.0 tariff. The SMART program is a solar incentive program that provides solar homeowners with additional compensation for the solar energy that they generate. The SMART 3.0 tariff changes parts of the structure and incentives offered under the current SMART program.

The public is welcome to observe the proceedings through a virtual livestream and interested stakeholders are welcome to participate in discussions. The session will take place on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. For audio-only access to the session, attendees can dial-in at 1 646-558-8656 and then enter Meeting ID# 879 2899 2224.
