The Workers' Compensation Advisory Council (WCAC) plays an important role in making sure the Massachusetts workers' compensation system runs efficiently and effectively. We monitor and make recommendations on workers' compensation bills, and report on all aspects of the workers' compensation system.
There will be the Chairman's welcome, DIA updates by Senior Judge Omar Hernandez, Director of Administration Bill Taupier, Director Sheri Bowles, and WCAC Executive Director Maureen O'Connell. Director O'Connell's update will include the 2023 - 2024 legislative session and an update on the FY 2023 Annual Report. Action items include minutes from July 12, 2023 and September 13, 2023 meetings.
Next Meeting: Tentatively scheduled for November 8, 2023.
