The Workers' Compensation Advisory Council (WCAC) plays an important role in making sure the Massachusetts workers' compensation system runs efficiently and effectively. We monitor and make recommendations on workers' compensation bills, and report on all aspects of the workers' compensation system.
This meeting will include the Chairman's welcome, an update on the Department of Industrial Accidents (DIA), Judicial and Dispute Resolution update by Senior Judge Omar Hernandez, DIA Vital Statistics update by Director of Administration Bill Taupier, DIA Director's update by Interim Director Sheri Bowles, WCAC update by Executive Director Maureen O'Connell, which includes a legislative.
